Everyone knows this, but I jusf found out... November is National Novel Writing Month. NaNoWrimo, and unlike the website title might make me think... Nano in this sense means 50.000 words. That's 200 pages. That's impossible.

And yet.... I seem to be plotting it.

I don't do this often, this posting thing, but allow me a moment of glee:

*glee*

Thank you.

Allow me also a moment of squee-madness:

HARRY GOT ACCEPTED! AND HE WILL BE ARRIVING ON TR IN JANUARY! AND I'M FAR TO PLEASED WITH THE IDEA OF PLAYING A MAD GANGSTER! WOOT!

*achem*

Right. Back to normal. Thank you.

And now for something completely novel... The olympics

It's been a while... a year, in fact. But let's pretend none of that ever happened. Start over. Oh, look. I got me a journal, how novel!

No introductions this time, but slight confusion.

***

The Olympics; one world, one dream, one big happy family. More altruistic than a U2 song, we have taken that spirit and watched the Olympics in Beijing. Putting aside our criticism and big opinions, we have separated sports from politics. And rightfully so.

But then why, right at the end, right after all nationalities cheered and Boris was allowed to wave the flag, why was the Olympic flag folded by the military? It looked so bloody wrong in so many ways.
